About Gina 

Ashley approaches her work with clients through a trauma-informed lens, helping them find meaningful ways to live their best life. She places a strong emphasis on building a connection with her clients and facilitating human change. Ashley strives to help her clients develop lifelong healthy habits and optimal coping skills that can serve them well beyond their time working together.

Ashley's background in business, psychology, and wellness has driven her passion for developing interpersonal relationships and helping others. With over a decade of experience in Human Resources and Career Development, she has gained expertise in employment, career retraining, and multi-service not-for-profit sectors. In career development, Ashley has helped a diverse range of clients, including post-secondary students navigating their future to executives wanting to make a change. Her main focus is on helping clients find happiness in their work and guiding them towards identifying fulfilling career paths. Ashley's approach is centered on helping clients find the joy in their work and achieve their career goals.

For the past five years, she has been working as a Fitness and Nutrition Coach in the health and wellness industry. Ashley supports individuals, couples, and groups to identify goals and develop tailored plans to achieve them. Moreover, she has facilitated a fitness group for postpartum mothers, which she co-created and developed into a supportive community of postpartum women over the past four years.

As a nutrition coach, Ashley works with a HAES® (Healthy At Every Size) approach, encouraging clients to set meaningful goals and make small behavioral changes that work within their existing routines and lifestyle preferences. She focuses on stress reduction, energy levels, sleep quality, and changes in body composition to improve the quality of life for her clients. Ashley's philosophy has always been rooted in positive psychology, highlighting client strengths, and helping them discover opportunities to build resilience. Her ultimate goal is to help clients create a better plan, a better future, and a better life.

 

Ashley has worked with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds including minority groups and the LGBTQ+ community. Ashley’s approach is grounded in cultural humility and awareness as she recognizes the unique challenges and experiences of every client. She strives to create a collaborative and empowering therapeutic relationship where clients feel seen, heard, and understood.
