The Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy Group to Change Habits
This group is a VIRTUAL 4-week group to help adults who struggle with changing unhealthy habits.
It will be held every Thursday for 4 weeks starting November 17th until December 8th from 4-6pm EST.
The group will help to address concerns by learning to change the reactionary habit and replacing it with healthy choices.
This psychoeducational and skill based-based group will explore the following topics:
feeling stuck in your habit
building awareness of what's keeping you stuck
addressing what causes your habit
changing unhelpful and negative thoughts
practicing self-care and balance to maintain changes
The group can be applied to a wide array of habits including - anger issues, motivation to do things, daily unhealthy habits, difficulty meeting goals, how you deal with conflict, unhelpful emotional reactions (avoidance, shutting down, anxiety) and substance use/addictive behaviours such as overeating, technology/video gaming.

Cost - $70 per 2 hour group (plus HST) *** Discounted rates available to those who cannot afford the regular rate***
