Credentials
Beginning therapy can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to navigate it alone. Aline offers a calm, welcoming space where you can feel seen, heard, and respected. She understands how important it is to feel safe in therapy, and she takes time to get to know your story, background, and identity so your care is personalized and meaningful.
Aline works with children, teens, and adults who are facing challenges like anxiety, stress, low self-esteem, emotional dysregulation, and burnout. She also supports clients navigating relationship and communication challenges, school difficulties, autism, and eating disorders. Her approach is gentle and grounded, and she focuses on building a trusting therapeutic relationship where you can explore your concerns at your own pace.
With experience supporting children and youth through ABA therapy and school-based roles, Aline brings patience, cultural awareness, and empathy to every session. She values collaboration and works closely with you to find strategies that match your needs, personality, and goals. Whether you’re facing a specific issue or just trying to feel more balanced, Aline creates a non-judgmental space for healing and growth.
Aline draws from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS). She is currently completing her Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University (expected December 2025) and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Carleton University. She is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the CRPO (application in process) and a member of CCPA.
