More About Sarah

Sarah Johnston (nee Adams) is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying). Sarah is accepting new clients to a waitlist for virtual or phone appointments to anyone in Ontario. Sarah offers individual counselling services for youth and adults.

Sarah understands how overwhelming life can feel when you’re struggling with anxiety, trauma, or major life changes. Many of her clients come to therapy feeling stuck—struggling with self-esteem, relationships, or the weight of past experiences. They often feel frustrated by a lack of coping strategies and unsure of how to move forward. Sarah is here to help.

Specializing in working with youth and young adults, Sarah provides a supportive space where clients can gain new perspectives, develop coping skills, and build healthier relationships. She takes a direct, evidence-based approach, drawing from multiple therapeutic methods to tailor treatment to each client’s needs. Using mindfulness, grounding techniques, and alternative interventions, she helps clients not only
navigate their current challenges but also build lifelong resilience.

Clients appreciate Sarah’s warm and affirming presence, as well as her ability to make therapy feel practical and empowering. She excels at building strong therapeutic relationships, ensuring that every client feels heard, understood, and supported. Her goal is to help clients develop self-confidence, a sense of purpose, and the tools they need to create meaningful change.

Sarah is currently accepting new virtual clients across Ontario. Book a free phone consultation today to take the first step toward healing and growth.
