With a wealth of experience spanning over 17 years, Chandra has evolved from her role as the director of Halton Day Care Services to become a seasoned Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying). In her work as a counsellor, she seamlessly integrates her vast knowledge and skills from community support to create a nurturing and supportive environment.

Education and Credentials

Chandra’s academic journey is impressive, holding a bachelor’s degree in Specialized Honours Psychology from the University of Guelph and a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Yorkville University. She’s also a registered Early Childhood Educator with the AECEO and a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. Chandra’s commitment is unwavering—to serve as a supportive guide as you navigate life’s various paths.

Counselling provided: Individual Counselling for Children (9 – 12 years old), Youth (13 to 19 years old), Adults (19 years old +) and Seniors (65 years old +).

 

Specialities: Anxiety, Anger Management, Stress, Coping Skills, Family Conflict/Divorce, Women’s Health issues, Difficult Changes or Life Stage Difficulties, Depression, and Career Issues.

 

​​Modalities: Solution-Focused Therapy, Mindfulness, Attachment-Based, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Narrative Therapy, Positive Psychology, and Strength-Based Therapy.
