When family life feels strained or pulled apart, the hurt can be hard to put into words. Maybe there is conflict that keeps coming up with no clear way through. A separation or divorce that has left everything feeling uncertain. A child who is pulling away and you do not know how to reach them. Or a relationship that keeps circling the same painful patterns no matter what you try. When you care deeply about the people in your life but feel stuck and unsure of what to do next, it can be an exhausting and heartbreaking place to be.
Luna creates a space where clients feel genuinely heard and comfortable sharing even the most difficult experiences. She is warm, calm, and grounded, and brings both support and gentle honesty to her sessions. Luna does not believe therapy should feel like simply talking without direction. She asks thoughtful questions, helps clients identify the patterns that are keeping them stuck, and offers practical tools alongside emotional support. Clients often describe her as approachable and easy to connect with, someone who makes even hard conversations feel a little more manageable.
As a Registered Nurse and Certified Nurse Psychotherapist with eight years of experience, Luna has supported children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families through some of life’s most difficult moments. She works with younger children through play-based approaches that help kids share what they may not yet have words for, and with teens, adults, couples, and families navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, family conflict, and relationship difficulties. Her nursing background shapes how she works: with attention to the whole person and an understanding of how health, relationships, and life circumstances are all connected.
Luna draws from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Informed Therapy, Somatic Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Gottman-informed couples support, adapting her approach to what each person needs. Some clients benefit from a gentler, more exploratory pace. Others appreciate more structure, feedback, and practical guidance. Whatever you are navigating, Luna meets you where you are.
