More About Lauren

Taking the first step toward therapy can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to do it alone. Lauren offers a safe, non-judgmental space where you can feel heard, understood, and supported. She knows that opening up about personal struggles isn’t easy, and she works to make each session feel like a place where you can show up as your true self, without fear of judgment.

Lauren’s passion is working with youth and young adults (ages 12-30), especially those who are facing challenges like anxiety, low self-esteem, stress, depression, life transitions, and relationship issues. Whether you’re navigating the pressures of school, family, friendships, or personal growth, Lauren works alongside you to better understand what you’re feeling and experiencing, creating space for it all while helping you move toward the changes you desire. She brings warmth and empathy to every session and focuses on building a trusting, collaborative relationship where you can explore your challenges and work toward lasting change.

Lauren uses a mix of Person-Centred Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Narrative Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). She also incorporates mindfulness-based tools, psychoeducation, and self-reflection exercises to help you build new coping strategies and insights into your life. Her goal is to meet you where you are and support you in making small but meaningful steps forward, no matter what challenges you’re facing.

Lauren holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Brock University and is currently pursuing her Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University (expected graduation December 2025). She is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the CRPO (application in process), and an Intern Associate. She continues to deepen her expertise through advanced training in anxiety, attachment, and trauma.
