Sometimes life asks more of us than we know how to give—especially when we’re carrying pain that no one else can see. Whether you’re feeling the weight of past trauma, navigating daily stressors, or trying to rebuild from a crisis, Lisa offers a space where you can begin to heal without pressure or judgment.
Lisa (she/her) is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) offering in-person therapy in Burlington, Ontario and virtual counselling throughout the province. With over 10 years of experience in the mental health field, Lisa brings a calm, steady presence to her work, grounded in her long-standing commitment to supporting those who feel overwhelmed, overlooked, or emotionally exhausted.
Throughout her career, Lisa has supported a wide range of clients—youth and families in crisis, individuals experiencing homelessness or addiction, Indigenous clients seeking culturally sensitive care, and first responders facing intense pressure and trauma from their work. She understands that healing doesn’t happen in isolation—and she creates a safe, supportive environment for people to reconnect with themselves and their inner resources.
Lisa specializes in trauma and PTSD, and brings deep compassion to her work with individuals experiencing borderline personality disorder, anxiety, depression, eating disorders, and complex emotional struggles. She draws from a rich toolbox of evidence-based approaches, including CBT, DBT, ACT, IFS (parts work), Narrative Therapy, and Psychodynamic and Adlerian interventions. Her style is grounded in trauma-informed, experiential, and person-centred care, helping clients not only cope but grow.
She is especially passionate about supporting women through major life transitions and emotional healing, and her clients often describe her as non-judgmental, warm, and insightful. Whether you’re a teen trying to find your footing, an adult processing past pain, or a first responder carrying invisible burdens, Lisa will walk beside you with care and steady encouragement.
