More About Tessa

Life has a way of throwing things at us when we least expect it—stress, loss, shifting relationships, or that low hum of anxiety that never quite fades. If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure how to move forward, Tessa offers a steady and supportive space where you can breathe, reflect, and begin to feel like yourself again.

Tessa Worthy is a Registered Psychotherapist offering individual counselling for youth (13+) and adults across Ontario—virtually and in-person from her Burlington office. She works with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, grief, relationship challenges, and life transitions. Tessa’s clients often describe her as someone who feels easy to talk to—kind, non-judgmental, and grounded in care.

At the heart of Tessa’s work is a deep belief that you are the expert on your own life. She takes a collaborative, client-led approach that moves at your pace—empowering you to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences in a way that feels safe and manageable. Her goal is to help you reconnect with your confidence and build emotional tools that actually work in real life.

Tessa integrates a range of evidence-based modalities into her work, including CBT, ACT, Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and EMDR for trauma processing. Whether you’re navigating a difficult life transition, working through unresolved pain, or just trying to manage day-to-day stress, Tessa meets you with warmth, curiosity, and unwavering respect for your story.

She’s especially passionate about supporting young people and adults who are working through self-esteem challenges, complicated family or partner dynamics, and moments of emotional upheaval. With Tessa, therapy is a space to explore what’s been weighing you down—and to discover what it feels like to move forward with more clarity, confidence, and calm.
