I have worked with children, youth and families for over 15 years as director for Halton Day Care Services. It was because of this work that I decided to pursue a Masters in Counselling Psychology to support the individuals and families in my community in a different capacity.
I graduated with a Bachelors degree in Specialized Honours Psychology from the University of Guelph and obtained my Master's of Counselling Pyschology from Yorkville University. I am a registered Early Childhood Educator with the AECEO, as well as, a Registered Psychotherapist (Q) with the CRPO. My goal is to work alongside individuals as they navigate their path in life.
My approach is evidence-based and collaborative to meet the unique needs of my clients. I specialize in working with teens and adults, with a special interest in women's health, and life stage transitions and change.
Specific modalities I use include: Solution Focused Therapy, Mindfulness, Compassion, Attachment, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Narrative Therapy strategies to help you develop your well-being.
